Shift management and attendance

Manage support worker shifts from publish to attendance

Connected Teams capability

Make the shift lifecycle easier to follow: what was planned, who was assigned, what happened and what still needs review.

Shift delivery and attendance workflows are present; clocking and location evidence are consent- and capability-controlled.
01

Move from a published shift to delivery

Scheduling routes support shift details, assignments and delivery actions. This gives coordinators a connected operational record rather than treating the roster and care record as separate systems.

  • Shift detail and action workflows
  • Assignment and worker context
  • Delivery start and live shift views
02

Capture attendance carefully

The mobile capability layer includes clock events and optional location evidence. These controls are designed around explicit organisation permissions and consent; Connected Teams does not imply continuous worker tracking.

  • Clock-in and clock-out event hand-off
  • Optional event location evidence
  • Attendance status available to downstream workflows
03

Prepare the record for review

Delivery sessions, evidence and notes can be reviewed before they become part of an approved timesheet or operational report. This keeps attendance, care delivery and payroll hand-off distinct.

  • Reviewable delivery evidence
  • Exceptions and corrections
  • Approved work can feed the timesheet workflow

Questions, answered

Understand the workflow before you begin.

Does the app continuously track a worker's location?

No. The backend describes location as consent-bound event evidence, not continuous tracking.

Can attendance flow into a timesheet?

The timesheet model can reference attendance sessions when the organisation's workflow uses that connection.

Can managers correct a shift record?

Authenticated shift and delivery actions are governed by permissions and the existing review workflows.
