Aurum Payroll

Aurum Payroll for connected workforce operations

Connected Teams + Aurum Payroll

Aurum Payroll is the separate payroll operations application that turns approved workforce data into controlled, reviewable payroll work.

Aurum includes a working Connected Teams integration contract; live deployment still requires the configured HTTPS service, credentials, organisation UUID and employee mappings.
01

Payroll operations in one controlled workspace

Aurum provides a payroll dashboard, employee records, timesheet review, pay runs, payslips, leave, allowances and deductions, superannuation, STP reporting, payments, reports, reconciliation, exceptions and audit history. It is designed for payroll teams that need to see what was calculated, who approved it and what still requires action.

  • Employee and payroll profiles
  • Timesheet review and approval
  • Pay runs, payslips, leave and adjustments
  • Payments, superannuation, STP and reporting
02

Australian payroll rules with explainable calculations

The payroll engine contains Australian statutory and SCHADS rule modules, effective-dated pay rates, PAYG withholding, superannuation and calculation explanations. Aurum preserves the distinction between a calculation estimate, an approval decision and a finalised or paid payroll result.

  • PAYG and superannuation workflows
  • SCHADS and Australian rule support
  • Effective-dated rates and rule history
  • Calculation explanations and reconciliation
03

Connected Teams to Aurum Payroll

The verified repository integration imports approved Connected Teams timesheets using organisation context, payroll scope and bearer authentication. Aurum maps workers by stable identifiers, validates pay periods and payable segments, prevents duplicate imports, handles newer revisions and acknowledges outcomes without treating acknowledgement as a payment instruction.

  • Approved-timesheet import
  • Worker-to-payroll employee mapping
  • Idempotency and duplicate protection
  • Revision handling and reconciliation history
04

SI — Super Intelligence around the payroll work

Aurum can be presented as SI-powered: Super Intelligence that helps payroll teams understand the next action, surface exceptions, explain calculation outcomes, compare source and payroll records, and keep approvals and audit evidence visible. The current repository implements the deterministic payroll engine, validation, exception, reconciliation, reporting and control foundations; SI assists the team and does not autonomously invent pay, approve payroll or release a payment.

  • Intelligent exception and reconciliation signals
  • Explainable payroll calculations
  • Human approval for high-impact actions
  • Audit-first operational guidance
05

Sensitive payroll information stays in the payroll boundary

Aurum receives the reduced payroll payload it needs from Connected Teams. Its integration documentation explicitly excludes participant identifiers, care narratives, health information and GPS data from imported payroll records. Payroll credentials, bank details and tax information remain protected by Aurum's authenticated tenant and role controls.

  • Tenant-isolated payroll workspaces
  • Role-controlled approval and payment actions
  • Protected employee tax, super and bank information
  • Audit events and bounded error handling

The connected payroll workflow

Approved work to controlled payroll.

Connected Teams remains the workforce and approved-timesheet source. Aurum Payroll applies its own payroll rules, approvals, finalisation and payment controls.

  1. 01

    Approve work in Connected Teams

Use the configured record, review state and audit history for this step.

  2. 02

Import and map the approved timesheets into Aurum

Use the configured record, review state and audit history for this step.

  3. 03

Calculate, review and approve the pay run

Use the configured record, review state and audit history for this step.

  4. 04

Finalise, generate payslips and process the authorised payment workflow

Use the configured record, review state and audit history for this step.

SI — Super Intelligence

Assisted insight with human control.

Aurum's SI language describes the intelligence around payroll operations: making exceptions, explanations, reconciliation and next actions easier to see. Calculations remain rule-based and high-impact approvals remain controlled by authorised people.

Does Aurum Payroll replace Connected Teams?

No. Connected Teams remains the workforce, scheduling and approved-timesheet source. Aurum is the separate payroll application for payroll processing.

Is the Connected Teams integration implemented?

The Aurum repository contains the integration client and contract workflow. Production use still requires HTTPS configuration, credentials, the Connected Teams organisation UUID and worker mappings.

What does SI mean on the Aurum Payroll page?

SI means Super Intelligence: assisted operational intelligence around calculations, exceptions, reconciliation and next actions. It does not replace statutory rules, human approval or payment controls.

Does importing a timesheet pay an employee automatically?

No. Import creates or updates payroll-side source records. Payroll review, approval, finalisation and payment remain separate controlled steps.
